Larry Proietti

Larry Proietti is the Owner of Proietti Media Group and a longtime Wyoming broadcaster whose career has been built around local radio, sports and community service.

Throughout his broadcasting career, Larry has been a familiar voice to listeners across Wyoming, with extensive experience behind the microphone covering local sports and connecting audiences with the communities they call home. His decades of contributions to Wyoming broadcasting earned him recognition as a member of the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Today, Larry leads Proietti Media Group alongside his son, Nick, overseeing KYOY and 1480 KRAE in Cheyenne. He remains active both on and off the air, including returning to the broadcast booth for local high school sports on 1480 KRAE and KRAE TV.

For Larry, local radio is about more than what comes through the speakers—it’s about serving the community, supporting local businesses and organizations, and keeping local broadcasting strong for the next generation.
